Dream Street at WWF on April 27th 2001. By Kimberly Kaplan

At 8:30AM as I neared the WWF THE WORLD, I saw some teenaged girls and realized that it was the line for the Dream Street concert. Four very crazy fans had slep overnight and there were two others in front of me as well. Gradually the line began to grow and many of the girls were my friends, or after striking up conversation, became friends. (Dream Street fans are the greatest!)
Around 2:00PM, one of Dream Street's producers, Louise, came out to talk to the fans and see how many of us were there. He was shocked to see a girl from California who came just for Dream Street, as well as by how long some of us had been outside. He also told us that at about 4:00PM Dream Street would be arriving in a strech limo.
After waiting for two more hours, the limo pulled up with Greg and Matt, who took turns sticking their heads out, and many of the people who had been behind the barricade ran to get closer to the members of Dream Street. The boys looked extremely suave as they walked from the limo into The World. The waved and smiled, but they couldn't really stop to sign autographs or talk because the fans were insane.
Shortly after tht the opening act 3rd faze arrived looking very stylish. They were really nice and took a few pictures with fans before going inside.
At around 4:45 or so, one of the security guards from The World went inside, and when he came out, he had Greg and Chris with him! They walked down the huge line of fans shaking hands and taking gifts that girls offered them, including flowers and notes. On their way back towards the front, I handed Greg something I wanted him to see and told him he better look at it!
Finally 6:30 rolled around and they began to let us into the venue. When I got to the floor I ended up in the second row behind some adorable little girls and the winner of the Fox Kids Dream Street contest, who had a lot of fun spending the day with them.
After what seemed like ages, Jazzy Jen from Radio Disney came out. She go the crowd screaming and excited and told us to stay that way because the concert was being taped for a DVD. She announced 3rd Faze, who were about to be signed with Edel Entertainment (Dream Street's label)
The girls came out and sang four songs. They were impressively good performers and Sara, Minia, and Halie had the crowd screaming. The first sone they performed was called "They don't know you" and it had a smooth pop/R&B sound to it. When they sang a ballad, called "Believe", they asked the fans in the crowd: How many of you truly truly believe that you will one day marry one of the boys from DREAM STREET?" Nearly everyone in the crowd screamed and raised their hands up.
When their set was complete, they bowed and Jazzy Jen returned to the stage. She acted as though she'd forgotten who was suppoed to be performing next and all the girls in the audience screamed "DREAM STREET!" over and over. Beofre they came out, a huge screen dropped and played a video clip that had been played at Planet Hollywood. Each member introduced himself and talked about his favorite color, food, what was up with Chris' hair, and what they looked for in a girl. At the end of the clip they were banging on the video cameria, so it seemed like they were trying to get out of the TV towards us. It had everyone "ooing" and "aahing" as well as laughing and screaming. As the screen went up we saw 5 pairs of feet and everyone went wild, beofre a red curtain dropped in place of the screen.
Beofre anyone knew it, the curtain rose to the beginning notes of "Let's get Funky tonite," revealing the baks of the members of Dream Street and smoky stage. They went right into the song and were extremely energetic, doing some really hot dance moves. After the song, everyone walked around the stage asking how we were and then Greg introduced the next song, "Sugar Rush"
